Cascadia’s own David Bernstein is the Oregon Music Teachers’ Association Composer of the Year this year, and has written a big new work for the occasion, SUITE OF THE EARTH. The world premiere, which will be livestreamed on Facebook, is during the OMTA 2019 State Conference in Eugene this week. Performers are Alexis Evers on flute, alto flute, and piccolo, Ian Jones on percussion, and Grant Mack on piano.
