Join Cascadia Composers!
Members are part of a regional community of composers who share common goals and aspirations, and access to educational enrichment, monthly presentation opportunities, expansive networking, and exclusive competitions and grants. Cascadia Composers additionally issues several calls for scores each season.
How to Join
You must be a NACUSA national member to join a chapter, but chapter membership is not strictly limited to regional residents. It is open to anyone with an interest in the area.
Combined yearly dues for regular membership in one chapter are $65 as of 2023, with reduced rates for seniors and student composers. Dues mostly go to individual chapters.
As of 2019, NACUSA no longer offers free membership to members over 80, and no longer offers new life memberships. All existing life memberships remain in force.
Current members: you can also renew your Cascadia Composers membership at the link above.
"Composers get their works staged and the feedback that only live performance can give, plus recordings they can use to spread their music. Locavore audiences get to hear how local artists interpret our shared time and place in original music. Not surprisingly, many compositions are inspired by the Northwest's natural beauty..."
